Who is Jesus?

Jesus Christ is the central figure of Christianity and we exist as a church to make him known to people today. Throughout the history of the Church all Christians have witnessed to the following truths about Jesus:

the only Son of God, our Lord
he was conceived by the Holy Spirit
born of the virgin Mary
he suffered under Pontious Pilate
he was crucified, died and was buried
he descended to the dead
on the third day he rose again
he ascended into heaven
he is seated at the right hand of the Father
he will come again to judge the living and the dead
