Rob Gladstone
Vicar
Rob came to Rothley in 2001 with his wife Sarah, and children Hannah and Sam, having previously worked in churches in Norwich and Stoke-on-Trent. His passion is seeing people become Christians, grow as disciples of Jesus and learning to serve, through teaching the Bible in every and any context. Since 2007 he has also been Area Dean of the locality.

Joy Chapman
Assistant Minister
Joy retired from the Chaplaincy at LOROS in 2003, moving to Rothley with her husband Keith in 2004. Since then she has been an Associate Minister and Coordinator of the church's bereavement support group. She loves the great outdoors and walking!

Pam Harvey
Assistant Minister
Pam retired in 1999 and since then she has had many opportunities to support churches around the Diocese of Leicester including Rothley. She came to faith in Jesus in her village church at the age of nine. Unusual places for a couple of holidays a year means islands around the UK and the world. But she says Scottish Islands are special - so beautiful and inspirational and challenging!

David Wilson
Lay Minister
David came to Rothley in 1971; he is married to Sue and they have three grown up sons. After many years teaching Politics at universities in the East Midlands, David is now Emeritus Professor at De Montfort University. While he has a number of diocesan responsibilities, he particularly loves serving In the parish and seeing people become more confident disciples of Jesus.

Lay Minister
Valerie is a retired local teacher, married to David. She is a Lay Minister and helps lead Quiet Days and supports the work of spirituality in the Diocese.

Liz Sleath
Church Administrator
Liz has been Administrator here for 14 years. She loves her job, but when not in the church office at The Old School Rooms looking after the ministry team and congregation, she is at home trying to look after her husband Fred, two of their five children (the others having left home), two dogs and a rabbit! Other than this she can be found playing tennis, ferrying children around, leading the Carousel housegroup for mums of young children or taking part in activities with both Brownies and Guides in Rothley, who also generally meet in The Old School Rooms!

Jean Arkley
Pastoral Co-ordinator
Jean retired from her nursing career at LOROS in 2001 and with her husband, Ken, is involved in many aspects of church life. She came to faith in the Lord Jesus as a teenager. She is passionate about the pastoral care of the elderly, sick and housebound and as Pastoral Co-ordinator reports to the Ministry Team. She loves family life, walking and travelling.

Simon Murphy
Organist & Director of Music
Simon has been Organist & Choir Trainer here at Rothley since 2001. He has been playing the organ since he was 14 and started playing for church services at St Matthew's, Leicester in 1976 as Assistant Organist before becoming the Organist & Director of Music at Birstall Parish church, a position he held there for twenty-two years. He is currently Rothley's second longest serving Organist.
