Christians have met together in Rothley for over 1,000 years. Today we are a vibrant Anglican Evangelical community committed to reach out with the good news of Jesus Christ, to be built up as his disciples and to send people out to make God’s love known in the world.
As a growing church family, we believe the Bible, which is at the heart of all our teaching and preaching, to be authoritative for all we need to know about who Jesus is, why he came and what it means to follow him. All our activities are centred on helping each other discover Jesus Christ as the Bible presents him, encouraging each other to live out the Good News of Jesus Christ and to reach out to the whole community with the love of God.
We have two or three regular Sunday meetings, within which we aim to worship God, teach the Bible, encourage and care for one another and pray for the needs of the world, in ways that are accessible to people from the cradle to the grave. Our children and youth have an exciting and varied programme throughout the year, and our midweek activities include bible studies as well as events for women, men and the elderly.
We would love to see you at any of our meetings or events. We hope you enjoy browsing our website and if you have any questions please contact us.
